Healing the Witch Wound

Releasing the Trauma of the Burning Times and Reclaiming our Voice, our Spirit and our Healing Gifts

Many of us still live in fear of sharing our voice and healing gifts. The protections of our mothers and grandmothers and their mothers and grandmothers kept our mystical questings, seeings and differences safely within the confines of what was acceptable in the societies they lived in.

What once kept us safe is now keeping us bound, and the fires are burning within.

The witch wound is caused by the visceral remembrance of being persecuted and burned alive for living our truth, and the social and cultural affects still playing out in our society today.

This is a real fear as it is in our collective memory and has kept many of us safely hiding in conformity.

The times ARE different now and i feel the Earth herself calling us to step forward with our gifts to help usher in a new relationship between humans and all of creation. She needs us to heal our fears.

To heal this wound we have to break it down, pull out each knife that bled the spirit of woman, and suffuse power back into all of the wounds.

 

Over five Sunday evenings, we will:

 
Reconnect to the Goddess Culture- to the time before the patriarchy began.
 
Heal the sister wound.
 
Understand the dominant culture and how the subjugation of women was completed in the burning times.
 
Reconnect to Earth as our teacher, healer, guide and mother.
 
Draw up our power, strength and gifts as healers and hearths of our communities to serve Her.

Each circle will include talking circles, guided meditation and experiential work, and ceremony.

As much as possible, this will be a closed journey- meaning that we are going through a healing together in sacred space. Each session is a layer and an important part of the healing. Please plan and arrange to come to every session.
 
While this circle is primarily for female bodied people, we do welcome non-binary, and male bodied people if this experience of persecution strongly resonates. In addition, the persecution of medicine people is not isolated to europe- it is one wave in a tide of colonization by the dominant culture that has taken over peoples, cultures, lands, and has its grip around the very lifeforce of Earth today.
 
This. must. stop.
It is time to align with Earth, align with our sisters, the indigenous, the medicine ones, the lovers of Her to shed the shackles the dominant culture has placed on us so that we can live in harmony with Her once again.
